C-TPAT

U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism is a partnership program that seeks to protect the trade industry from terrorists and increase border security.

FAST

Free and Secure Trade is a joint initiative between the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection that enhances border and trade chain security while making cross-border commercial shipments simpler and subject to fewer delays. FAST is a voluntary program created to combat cross border crime. Participants undergo a risk assessment screening before they are FAST approved.

CSA

Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) is a U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) initiative to improve large truck safety and ultimately reduce collisions, injuries, and fatalities that are related to commercial motor vehicles. It introduces a new enforcement and compliance model that allows FMCSA and its State Partners to contact a larger number of carriers earlier in order to address and prevent safety issues before problems occur.
